As the Department of Transportation Engineering, our mission is to develop transportation systems using basic engineering knowledge and as a result, to improve living standards and community quality. Transport Engineering discipline, which is involved in the development of interregional relations in the fields of economy, commerce, industry, education, health and many other fields, has an important role in safely moving both people and loads from one point to another and related planning, design, construction, operation aims to improve maintenance, traffic management and control, regulation, research and development activities quickly and comfortably.
Our department aims to meet the needs of our country's transportation engineers who have sufficient professional knowledge and skills in this field, equipped, competent, innovative and open to change, skilled in following technological innovations, prone to conducting interdisciplinary studies and aware of their professional ethics and responsibilities.
