The 3rd Transport Days Workshop, organized by the Transport Engineering Department and the Transport Engineering Club, was held on Wednesday, November 27 at the July 15 Conference Hall.
Yalova Governor Muammer Erol, Yalova Deputy Mayor Hamit Kutlu, Rector of Yalova University. Dr. Suat Cebeci, the representatives of various municipalities responsible for transportation, participated. The event, in which Yalova University faculty members and students showed great interest, started with the reading of the National Anthem after the respect stance. After a short music performance prepared by the Transportation Engineering students, the President of the Transportation Engineering Club Uğur Tekin and the President of the Transportation Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdoğan made the opening speeches.
Following the opening speeches, three sessions were held at Yalova University 3rd Transportation Days. Dr. The subject of the first session, moderated by Lecturer Yavuz Delice, was “Transportation Infrastructures Investments”. During the session, General Manager of Infrastructure Investments, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. Yalçın Eyigün, Emay International Eng. Assistant General Manager Sinan Alemdar and Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure State Airports Administration Deputy General Manager Dr. Yunus Emre Ayözen made his speeches.
The second session on Local Applications of Transportation Systems is Assoc. Dr. Moderated by Eray Can, Hasan Görgülü, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Traffic Department Head, Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Services Department Head Ahmet Özer and Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation and Traffic Management Department Head Study and Project Chief Süleyman Saraç shared his experiences with the students.
Last session on Operation and Management of Transport Systems Faculty Member Çiğdem Avcı Karataş was moderated by. In the last session, Boğaziçi University Earthquake Engineering Department Faculty Member Assoc. Eren Uçkan, İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality İspark A.Ş. General Manager Murat Çakır and Edirne Municipality Transportation Services Manager Erdal Uygun made speeches.
